Or at the very least, they saw how TCU gave the game away.
That's the thing when humans and not computers are in charge. They saw that TCU was the better team for 50+ minutes.
So three one loss teams have a higher ranking than the undefeated national champs?

Baylor beat TCU by 3 and their only other impressive win was when they killed Oklahoma. They lost at West Virginia. They struggled with Texas Tech. Their non-conference schedule was a joke.
By comparison, TCU torched Texas Tech, they also beat OU but didn't kill them but they did win at West Virginia where Baylor lost, they were more impressive over Okie St. and they already beat K-State who Baylor hasn't played yet. Plus, they beat Minnesota which is a actually a feather in their cap right now.
You can certainly say that head-to-head is all that matters but if you look at resume, that's where TCU is better. With that said, if Baylor kills K-State then I would consider jumping them over TCU.
