The Infamous >>>> Illmatic

I'm not actually mad at this statement. You can't go wrong with either one. The Infamous is a perfect rap album, much like Illmatic. So if someone likes The Infamous more, I can't really call it blashpemy

One thing I'll always give the Infamous credit for is being able to achieve an unholy amount of consistency and cohesion with more tracks and interludes than Illmatic. Illmatic has 9 perfect rap songs (Not counting genesis). The Infamous has 14 (not counting the interludes) that is one hell of a feat

1 and 2 for me. I agree with the OP - but i have no problem with someone putting Illmatic at number one.

Although I dapped the poster who said that the Mobb was better than Nas by a wide margin, overall, I don't know if that's true.

I feel weird comapring a duo to a solo artist...especially a duo like Mobb Deep...What made mobb deep dope was the chemistry between Hav and P....Hav's production created that dark atmosphere and P's rapping complimented it perfectly. They both need each other. By themselves they weren't as dope as they were together.
