It's a good album. My favorite songs from it:

You Know What It Is
I Luv It
3 A.M.
What You Talking Bout
Keep It Gangsta
Mr. 17.5
I Got Money

L also like "I Do This". 2006 is pretty much an underrated year within itself. Plus, Inspiration dropped during a crazy period in which a lot of big albums dropped:

Doctor's Advocate
Kingdom Come
Hip Hop Is Dead
Blue Carpet Treatment
Hell Hath No Fury (not as big, but it had a lot of hype especially after XXL hailed it a classic)

Every jeezy album since 101 is watered down commercial trash. Why would anyone listen to jeezy when you can bump Gucci

Compare Guccis two "official" albums with Jeezys 4 and come back and mention the word commercial trash again :smh:

Maybe its just me, but the first 6-7 tracks are :win: status....especially the intro, which is one of my favorite intros of all time...

However, the album becomes boring and the beats sound uninspired after the first half of the album...its not that those tracks suck, but they feel like a letdown after the amazing start to the album...imo

If 102 had been his debut it'd be classic......I still don't know how recession is considered better by most people I've seen

I think it got some criticism cause it wasn't classic after classic like the first album.
The first album, cats literally knew every bar and ad-lib on every damn song.

This album had 2 skippable tracks What you talking bout and the CTE song Keep It Gangsta but they were both kinda nice. The realest might not've been memorable but that's my shyt :wow:

You nikkas rappin' 'bout blow, like it's a fad
nikka this is my life, I ain't tryna set trends
Cause everybody knows how that brick-road ends
