Ditto to both, I love them and have been looking for the vinyl but can’t find it.Album delivered on it's title. Got the physical copy on my desk as we speak
I saw them live too. It was a really good show. Syd is goofy and pretty down to earth. Sucks they didn't preform some of my favorite tracks off this album. I guess cause of the features (Sunset, Higher Times, You Don't Even know)
This is like one of my fav RnB songs of the last decade and it’s from them.do i need to peep this? always slept on them
YES. Go thru their whole discography. They're students of the their predecessors (Jamiroquai, NERD, Badu, etc)do i need to peep this? always slept on them
do i need to peep this? always slept on them
do i need to peep this? always slept on them
thanks bro notedStart with this album, then go through everything afterwards and you can basically listen to them grow. You can even hear how their sound shifted with changing personel and Steve coming more to the forefront.
They’re the last black, successful “Funk-&-B” band we’ve got.
Yes.
All 4 of their albums are dope. I'm a day one fan, and honestly, haven't stopped playing their catalogue since 2011. There's a track for every mood and vibe. But the music itself is just high quality and refreshing. Each album kinda has a different feel to it, but their sound is their own, as a band.
They're supposed to be working on a new project now. Been waiting on that one.
Is it the full lineup? They are the best collective in music when active.
I don’t even know. Wish I did.
Syd and Matt Martians were posting some sh*t on IG about how they're back in the lab, but then the talk stopped. So it's still kinda up in the air. Last update was her saying she's going on tour with Billie Eilish this summer, but she's still working on The Internet project. They never give any details though.
