I’m not saying they did a bad job with revealing too much... but if the main crux of a good chunk of the movie is gonna be others thinking she’s crazy, wouldn’t it have made sense to lean into that a bit more instead of showing us that someone really is there?

Not necessarily. It’s dramatic irony. The audience knows something the rest of the characters don’t. So the tension comes from us knowing the truth while everyone else says she’s crazy.

Thought the trailers looked bad, but it’s actually gotten a lot of positive reviews, so I’ll check it out tomorrow. I got the Alamo drafthouse pass, so why not get drunk and watch it

Just saw it. I have to say the suspense in the first half is really well done. Felt like a horror movie. It makes a few odd choices in the last act but overall I'd say it's very solid. Elizabeth Moss was great and the ending worked for me. 7.5/10

the trailer is probably the best trailer's i've seen in a long time..i'm definitely in.

the mummy was a let down but the horror elements towards the end were entertaining..i enjoyed it.

I don't really see how. This isn't a "monster movie" and while she leaves with the suit I wasn't exactly looking to see her next adventure. I didn't stay for any post credit scene though
