In a nutshell -
The skeleton was there, but it simply didn't flesh out its themes enough. The third act fell completely flat. Final shot was

i liked it alot....there was a couple really clever scenes...when the woman leaves the party & the creepy guy says he has to move his car (you see another car pass by, making it seem like she's safe), and the chick making weird faces in the mirror....

Some people here haven't seen it yet and I want to encourage more people to watch it.

Decent film I predicted the ending
i thought they were all poisoned from the jump when they starts drinking it was just gonna slowly kick in. They coulda done better with fleshing out the cultish theme they left it too vague. The tweaked out girl was too much of a dead giveaway she spoils the movie. Good concept but the execution was meh. I wonder if there will be a part 2
I predicted the ending too, but that's probably because I watch too many movies. I thought it was dope. Well cast and the director did a good job slow cooking the tension.

Saw the trailer yesterday, but the mixed review in here got me annoyed i need to fire up the laptop to stream or download it, don't want to waste money on the rental if I fall in the camp that doesn't like it

i don't think the film maker was trying to "say something" about dying, salvation, how people death with death or anything and I don't think fleshing out those themes would've done anything to help the film. It's a simple thriller film, I think it accomplished that goal well, especially if you didn't watch any trailers before hand.In a nutshell -

And I agree that creepy chick broke the movie, I knew some demonic shyt was definitely going down once they introduced her. Tried to make the main look crazy but the whole time I'm screaming hoping him and Kiera would just get the fukk out of there.
