The Irish are no different than any other group that has been granted white supremacist status over the years in the Western Hemisphere

First, they're disenfranchised
Then the white supremacists realize they need another source of "white people", so they grant white status on said groups
Then said group is given welfare benefits by the state via jobs and housing
Last, the white supremacists let said group know, in no uncertain terms, that their benefits are contingent upon how well they help the white supremacist disenfranchise black people

The Irish were basically disenfranchised and left in ghettos all across the Northeast. They were the original gang bangers who lived in total squalor. A movie was made about this titled "Gangs of New York." Then the white supremacists decided that they would use these types to police the inner cities. Hence, why most police forces are filled with these types. So much so that a police funeral is scored by bag pipes.

This is NO DIFFERENT than what has and continues to be done with Asian and Arab people groups in this country. It's like a seasoning process where they are first beaten down.
