The offense would have to be perfectly built around Teddy for him to be as effective. With a non existent rushing attack & consistent o-line what exactly is Teddy going to do? Put up 30 ppg like the Bucs’ offense is doing right now? He’s not a fit for Arians’ system.

And even with all the fukkery and heart attack and rage Jameis induces, he’s still one of the most exciting QB’s in the league to watch. As a Bucs fan I’m not tryna watch Teddy dink & dunk us potentially to the playoffs and ultimately not do shyt when we get there.

Hypothetically, if Jameis gets hot for a 3 game stretch in the playoffs it’s over with. I’m not sure if Teddy has that kind of ceiling
Teddy doesn't fit that offense at all. Arians runs the most stretch offense I've seen in a while. He throws passes past the 1st down marker and doesn't rely on his receivers to do the work. Teddy does. That's not the Bucs offense.

Arians is running an old school, downfield offense. Nothing like it in the league. Jameis is beasting in it.

Winston is more talented, but Teddy will get you more wins.

Tampa has enough talent where they just don't need the QB to blow games. Winston lost about 4 games this year because of his fukkery.

Teddy would have Tampa with about 9 wins right now. He wouldn't put up the numbers Winston does, but he'd not outright lose games either.
Do you really think Bridgewater would be able to play in this offense with no run game to speak of.

I wouldn't want Teddy throwing it 40-50 times just like I don't want Winston throwing it that many times.

I could see it if we had a run game and a solid defense that could hold teams to under 25 a game.

Teddy is the perfect game manager, but with our defense being jekyl and Hyde and the run game being non- existent, Teddy would have to carry the squad and I don't think he's built for having to score 28+ a game

At least he’s getting adjusted to it now. Most of his top shelf receivers are out now so it’s interesting to see what happens these last two games.

Precisely bro. Why the hell not?

shyt, Jameis best comparisons is being an Eli, Roethlisberger, Favre hybrid

all them nikkas turned the ball over with little regard

And this is with the running game only averaging 70 a game outside of Jameis' 15-20 he puts up a game. That's why Bucs fans say the team is fukked up, breh is our offense for the most part with Evans and Godwin.

EDIT: I'd honestly give up 40-60 of them yards a game if it meant the run game got that to balance things out and make the offense more dynamic, then those play fakes would be even more scary cause the running game is actually doing something

EDIT 2: Just did the math, in the same span, the the running backs have only gotten 790 yards in that time and only average 56 a game on the ground and that's between Jones and Barber, that's fukking :trash:

Patriots should pick him up :yeshrug:

:jbhmm: It's an interesting thought, what he could do with that Belichick structure and system in place around him.

:skip: The thought of how white patriots fans would react to Jameis being Brady's successor, lol!

What other options do we have, brethren?

If he finishes the year with 36 passing TDs, 27 INTs and over 5,000 yards and goes 8-8 or potentially 9-7 you have to bring him back.

He’s young, he’s durable, and the bank doesn’t have to be broken for him

Lets be real, if this is a McCowan or Fitzpatrick or some other white QB with those stats, re-signing him wouldn't even be a discussion in the media.

Ehh, I'll say he lost the 9ers and both saints games. Outside of that Winston had us humming in the other games we lost..Those Giants and Seattle games are squarely on the defense and special teams
