This is a new low for lazy sourcing.

But if you click on the names in the graph, they have links to articles from NYTimes and other reliable sources that detail the connection. At least on the nodes I clicked I see that.

No it doesn’t. It just draws lines to people. Most of the links are just wikipedia pages for that person.

It’s user-generated data by a random person who just typed data into fields. This isn’t journalism.
