Of course there’s history. It’s NYC sports media. It’s the Jets. Jamal Adams was considered one of the young, premier, blue chip defenders in the game. The team/organization was a total mess and he demanded out.

There’s bad blood. We know beat writers and fans have been chirping him relentlessly.

Yankees and Knicks players deal with even more scrutiny in that same market.

Adams doing too much. It’s not even anything crazy like what Westbrook and overseas soccer players have to deal with. Player like him shouldn’t be chirping with the chirpers and searching for family pics.
