False. It's a fact that most so called Jews walking around today have absolutely no connection to the Jews of the bible. 9/10 Jews cant trace their heritage back the original tribes because these so called jews today were first brought about by the Hasmoneans under the influence of Hellenism, and continued until Christianity rose to dominance. People act like you have to be born jew to be jew, but the Euopean Jew that we all know today is the result of conversion.
You'd have to really be a fool, and ignore the evidence in the bible and real life facts to subscribe to the idea that the jews walking around today are the same jews of old.
Although I don't agree with you in any way, let's assume, for a minute, that what you're saying is true and that Jews of European descent aren't connected to the "Hebrews of the Bible."
Can you please explain to me what significance that would have, at all, for anyone, anywhere? Conversion is a perfectly acceptable form of becoming Jewish. Millions have been slaughtered for this part of their identity and maintained true to it in the face of impending death/suffering. Who the hell would/should care if their lineage can't be traced back to the original tribes? They converted, so the fukk what? Generations since then have been raised Jewish, remain loyal to the Jewish cause, and are the majority of the ones actually sustaining the Jewish religion today. Go to Israel today, look at the ones who sign up to die at age 18 for their country/the Jewish religion, and die off in droves defending it, and what do 99% of them look like? So who is REALLY Jewish? Or rather, whose Jewishness is more significant? Whether their lineage can be traced back to the Bible or whether 120 generations ago, someone converted - what difference does it make now? So you can beat your chest and say "I'm a descendant of the tribe of Judah"? Well, I'm a descendant of folks who converted centuries ago (using this logic) and died in the Holocaust. Ok, and? I mean seriously, cut me a fukking break with this shyt.
