Not that this matters as much as our resident racial scientists and street corner preachers would like it to. Identity is not formed on genetics alone.

In an ironic way, anti-semites throughout the centuries have allowed the Jewish people to survive and prosper. If they didn't hate us and segregate us, we wouldn't have stuck together and kept the genetics, the culture, etc.

In a few generations, the American Jew may no longer exist because they're accepted and given equal rights. A lot of them intermarry and stop observing the faith (which is what could happen to me, too). So in a way, I think this is as high as it's gonna go for us.

That's why we need Israel, though I may not agree with everything the country does on a political level. That's the only chance Jews have to survive in the long term, because once we're accepted as citizens with equal rights all over the world, we will begin to disappear... Without a country we'd just assimilate.
