The Jiggy or shiny suit era got started up around the time Pac and Biggie were killed and it marked the end of Hip Hop's creative peak(87-96). You still had quite a few classics on majors but mainstream Hip Hop for the most part was trash while the underground was striving in the beginning and then, for the most part, became corny like the mainstream.

Shabazz Palaces (Black Up is :wow:), the Odd Future cats (especially Earl), Blu, Roc Marciano and Killer Mike are making great music in this era in spite of the "swag" (Shiny Suit equivalent) dominance in the mainstream. Kendrick is that "saviour" crossover artist who appeals to hip hop purists and the mainstream.

You stills haven't mentioned anyone who dropped a classic.

We got Ready To Die, Life Story, Harlem World & No Way Out in a span of 2 years from one label. None of those you mentioned have classics.
