NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
you do realize only 5% of college football/basketball players make those "potential millions in future income." And about 75% of them know they wont make that much money, so no miss me with all that nonsense.

First-

Breh, 75%? haha. Most everyone on that field/court thinks that they could to make it to league. Damn near ALL think they have at least the potential to make it to the league. If people were actually realistic about their odds, then competitive schools (U.Mich, Duke, Georgetown, Vandy, Stanford, etc.) would get all of the top recruits. Instead, dudes opt for more TV coverage and go to 3rd rate schools like Miss St.

Second-
Your argument doesnt even prove your point. What future professional income are these volleyball players risking?

If they kicked out of school, they risk any career whereas there football players transfer.

And the academically strong argument is stupid because those schools are harder to get into.

Why are you so focused on that point? These sistahs out here taking stands and you focused in saving these dudes pride.

Can't wait for the nba season to start, should be interesting. I go to a lot of games too :patrice:

Yo @pete clemenza you going stand up during the national anthem before games. I don't think I did anyways
I do if I'm there early but most times we're still pre-gaming/eating at either The Yardhouse, Luxe Hotel, Tom's Urban, etc across the street at LA Live

If the Black players did it collectively, tf those coaches gonna do?:mjlol:

Oh Lord, know yourself, know your worth, nikka.

I agree, but they have to do it collectively. If its just one or two, they getting benched and dropped.

The problem is, I have no doubt there are way more college athletes that are self serving or c00nish than willing to take a stand on something.

Funny how not one college football kneed ths past weekend

Are you really surprised by this. Them kids can get kicked off the team by just getting a golf cart ride to the dorm. Or get kicked off the team because someone treated them for lunch. Yet they make these schools billions of dollars.

Actually the college athletes in golf, soccer, rugby, cross country, volley ball and wrestling have a better opportunity to protest. Since they aren't in big money sports the spot light isn't on them. No media members gonna demand they be kicked off a team. No garbage bag of hate mail or constant call of death threats.

This other college athletes can make protests and really no one would know.

Female professional volleyball players can make up to a million dollars a year in leagues around the world. Look it up

And in what world does a "third rate" school like Miss St. get more tv coverage than schools like Duke or Stanford or Michigan?

What are you even talking about in here breh? :dahell:
