He hasn't changed for me. I still think he makes good music. I just think hes on the back half of his career :yeshrug:

Then again I like his verse on That Part that everyone seems to hate because it's very Los Angeles. There is a California influence to his lyrics and music these days that I think people are not hearing. Or.....that is exactly why people are not feeling it in other areas or from outside of the US (who don't really count but just throwing them in to prove a point)

it's hard to separate the two sometimes.

it was a lot easier to appreciate his music when you knew he was just a guy tryna make it in music. his humility and vulnerability was were part of his charm, combined with his brashness.

but now i know i'm listening to his shyt i can't help but think it's the frankenstein lab creation of this delusional, out of touch, insecure attention seeking weirdo.
Kanye's whole Dropout persona feels fake and corny to me :yeshrug:(not to say I don't like the music, really only Last Call and School Spirit).
Late Registration through now Ye is were it's at.
With no dips in between.

I liked yeezus. Pablo is dope to me too. That said he's doesn't have the same influence on the culture anymore. I think he put all his creative energy into yeezus and after the mixed reception that kind of demoralized him. Now hes given up and doing shyt with Drake

Yeezus got overwhelmingly positive reception and was one of the most acclaimed and successful tours of 2013

Crazy how people just change shyt into what they want to hear :dead:

You know what I mean man. The hip hop community hated that album

Majority of people liked the album breh. The tour was the 2nd most successful of 2013 despite it being an incredibly minimalist and purposely under advertised album. Several of its songs were used in music trailers and commercials. Some fans just happened to not like its different sound and direction, it was still widly successful and nowhere near a miss.
