So I ain't trying to hear the usual suspects bytching moaning about how nobody cares about black men

while ya'll seeking salvation at tearing down other black men. Straight up.

Could you be giving Katt too much power? I mean, of course you know his rant will do NOTHING to their careers. So "tearing down successful black men" seems a little strong. And this is not the first time Katt has done something like this. There is a video of Kevin Hart on the Breafast Club talking about stuff Katt said and it sounds like he's responding to this interview but its from like 5 years ago. It's good for a few laughs and memes but I don't see much coming out of this except material for new jokes on both sides.

I feel similarly despite not really disagreeing with anything Katt said. It's moreso how we platform so much vicarious bullshyt that is meaningless. I don't believe people gotta be listening to NPR all day, wearing suits and being serious. But this podcast wave just strikes me as something dedicated to making us dumber. More #content for #engagement that gets chewed up and spit out immediately while we wait for the next meal.
