Yeah, I definitely got under your skin. fakkit

what kind of fukkig idiotic question is "how is hating corny"

it's like you read nothing I said and was dying to give your moronic input

go away

Nah. I just don't like being disrespected with no basis.

corny
  1. trite, banal, or mawkishly sentimental.

The way I see it, corny is something applies to art/music, not opinions :manny:

That's why I asked what you meant, but you decided to continue flipping the fukk out like a hormonal pregnant bytch.

In this case I think it's corny how you can't get duckworth's dikk out your ass.

Side note there's been talk that Kendrick is a fake revolutionary for prophet. That has extreme validity since he has a Reebok deal and is white peoples favorite rapper right now

Doesn't change my love for the album

And besides there's been a lot of fake revolutionaries in hip hop that we've given passes too, and you know who they are

Chuck D, KRS, and Paris are among the authentic ones

Some people feel Ice Cube was a fake revolutionary because he was gangster before AmeriKKKa and after Predator he went on the G-Funk path. I'm not going to comment on that because I don't know where Cube's heart is regarding the pro black stance, he's still my favorite rapper regardless, and whether he is fake or not, it shouldn't matter as much if you're a nikka who injects the lyrics and not specifically the messenger. But most nikkas today idolize the messenger and then get surprised when they realize the messenger is human/hypocritical too

What if the messenger acknowledges that he's a hypocrite?

This is why the Kendrick Lamar hate is stupid but predictable. Because most people are fukking morons and can't really deal with something that's more complex than good/bad, gangsta/conscious.

I'm not even :cape:for him on some die hard fan shyt because I didn't even really like his most recent album like that. But the real reason for a lot of the hatred is that he throws people who can't put him in their box for a loop.

I feel like he is consciously trying to bring balance to the extreme expression of the young black american manhood that was 2pac Shakur. And to do that you can't be anything less than HUMAN, he's telling you up front about his humanity. About this dimension of his experience that conflicts with that one.

He's white peoples favorite rapper because he has the stage (The affiliations, the "machine") and he's actually using it to touch people/speak for people. You can feel like he's over hyped, or a plant, or a leaf or whatever the fukk...bottom line is, aftermath gave him the ball and he put work in. And he's able to relate to a wide base because of that effort and honesty.

He's white peoples favorite rapper because he has the stage (The affiliations, the "machine") and he's actually using it to touch people/speak for people. You can feel like he's overhyped, or a plant, or a leaf or whatever the fukk...bottom line is, aftermath gave him the ball and he put work in. And he's related to a wide base because he's honest.

Exactly. The album isn't even in the same vein as Fear Of A Black Planet, Death Certificate or The Devil Made Me Do It. It's just him being honest and stating how he feels in 2015 in the midst of all this racial shyt going on. Idk how people are getting "revolutionary" out of it

And I love the album because e production, lyrics, cohesiveness, and package is A1. Not because of the subject matter. Many people made albums with the same exact subject matter and it was trash or boring. Like Talkb Kweli's recent efforts

Kendrick knows he isn't a revolutionary. But there's nothing wrong with using the platform that the Jews who rule the music industry granted you, to somehow bless your own people.

To give a serious answer, I wouldnt call myself a kendrick hater.. I was a big fan up until that billboard mag interview about mike brown.. I don't buy ANYONE's albums outside of like 1 or 2 artists but Kendrick was the one I was definitely looking forward to copping on the 1st day up until then, I was just so disappointed, but I still downloaded TPAB and bumped it for a good 2 weeks tho cuz there was no denying the nikkas talent and thought maybe he would change his tone on the album.. he was my fav current rapper of this generation for a reason.

But where I get annoyed is when people praise him as this black messiah 2015 public enemy/malcolm x/ice cube hybrid when he's not that. He literally made a poem at the end of the album about how we need to respect ourselves in order for racism to stop and got praised for it but if Raven Symone said that same shyt on the view the black community woulda shytted on her. In the midst of his "i" album version performance he says "nikkas is tired of playing victim":mjpls:. The end of Blacker The Berry(one of the most praised songs on the album) he says that Trayvon Martin line and no one bats an eye because the song is fire and he gets praised as some racially woke raptivist.

Aside from the respectability politics problem I have, I feel like people tend to overhype his album. I thought his last album was cool, not better than GKMC, but still cool. Meanwhile nikkas calling it the goat album, senators giving this nikka awards, college professors across the country giving courses about the album, him winning 2 grammys off of "i" which got shytted on initially while GKMC didnt win anything and I'm just like damn am I listening wrong:ld:

I definitely don't hate him tho, just someone who expected something different from someone who was once my favorite rapper but the rest of the world obviously didnt:ld:

No it's not, idiot, it's for people who say obviously stupid shyt. I'd neg someone who said something like "black women have nothing on white women" . Not because I disagree, but because it's borderline racist and c00nish. I wouldn't neg someone who said "Kendrick has no appeal to me"
I negd you yesterday for being a overly emotional argumentative fakkit. Sounds worthy of a neg to me. :sas2:

A lot of the hate is backlash from the hype placed upon Kendrick. Although he's one of the most talented of his generation, a good chunk of his stan base (especially online) has gradually become annoying, pretentious (something a lot of 'conscious' rapper fanbases get accused of) and overstate his work.

It doesn't help there is/was a Kendrick stan on the coli with multiple alts all posting the same shyt making some of the most outlandish statements I've ever heard :snoop:

Hating a rapper because of their fans is like hating black people because of Tyler Perry movies or hating The Bible because of the extreme judge mental bible thumpers

I feel Kanye is a legend, his fakkit fan base of post 1994 fukkboys who don't know who Da Brat and Foxy Brown is or didn't listen to a rap album before 2005 doesn't make me think any less of Kanye
