I feel Kanye is a legend, his fakkit fan base of post 1994 fukkboys who don't know who Da Brat and Foxy Brown is or didn't listen to a rap album before 2005 doesn't make me think any less of Kanye

I listened to the review that the "Where's My 40 Acres" podcast did for TPaB album and they were mentioning that cacs (critics & fans) were turned off by the album because Kendrick went too pro-black on the album.

A lot of the hate is backlash from the hype placed upon Kendrick. Although he's one of the most talented of his generation, a good chunk of his stan base (especially online) has gradually become annoying, pretentious (something a lot of 'conscious' rapper fanbases get accused of) and overstate his work.

It doesn't help there is/was a Kendrick stan on the coli with multiple alts all posting the same shyt making some of the most outlandish statements I've ever heard

As for the Kendrick hate... It's extremely corny, but not necessarily because they hate HIM, but because of the amount of time and effort they put into it.

But oh well. Every person who's blessed enough to see greatness will get that. But if he really weren't as good as people say he is, then there wouldn't even be a need to go trash him. So essentially, and ironically, the amount of hate threads are a testament to how praised the dude really is.
