Naw, not interested but if I did. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't fukking pass out and die on the spot. Hell if I ate them everyday for a week straight I wouldn't pass out and die. Seems like nikkas on here don't know what moderation is.
Gotcha. You're right. Moderation is key.
Visually, the DD is unappealing and appears it'd be super heavy on the stomach after eating. As I said, I'm not touching it, but if I did, I definitely wouldn't eat if for lunch while at work.

KFC double down 540 calories — it’s the latest effort by a fast-food chain to offer healthy choices. However, don’t count on it being the best choice if you want to lose weight. The low-calorie sandwich won’t fill you up, and the grilled version is 460 calories.
Double Down is not your traditional sandwich as in the place of bread. The bread has been replaced with two chicken filets that hold it together. It’s packed with bacon, slices of Monterey Jack, Pepper Jack cheese, and some special new sauce.
It sounds great and the price is only $5. The problem is, it contains about 1,430 milligrams of sodium. While it might not be the best choice for lunch or dinner, it seems to be no healthier than a McDonald’s Big Mac or the Burger King Whopper.
The calories in the sandwich are more than two-thirds of the daily allowance. That’s if you’re watching your diet. If you’re working towards weight-loss, just making a salad at home.
Nutrition Information Reveals Fat Contents and Carbohydrates
Dr. Walter Willett isn’t impressed with KFC’s new “Double Down” chicken sandwich. He is chairman of the Harvard School of Health’s Department of Nutrition. Willett broke down the nutritional content and found some it had adverse metabolic effects.
“These are clearly not healthy choices,” Willett said in a statement. “The carbohydrates that come along with these sandwiches [are] almost always pure white flour, which has adverse metabolic effects and lots of empty calories.”
The fast-food chicken sandwich comes with 1,430 and 1,380 milligrams of salt. He says this amount is “through the roof” and doesn’t see the health benefit. He also doesn’t like the idea that one sandwich alone has about two-thirds of the daily recommended allowance for people under 45.
“The amount of saturated fat is about half the day’s allowance of 20 grams, and the total cholesterol is substantial as well,” Willett said.
Group Want Chicken Sandwich Banned
There’s already at least one nutritionist group calling for a warning label on the sandwich. The KFC Double Down is unique in the fact it has no flour bun using two patties of chicken. However, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine wants KFC to marketing the chicken sandwich to children.
The group claims that the food item contributes to childhood obesity. They want to keep ads for the sandwich from within 500 yards of schools. They even wrote their own KFC warning label.
“WARNING — Eating meat can contribute to obesity in children, and can increase their risk for heart disease, diabetes and cancer.”
That doesn’t sound too appetizing after you buy a $5 sandwich. The group says that “Double Down” is a troubling symbol of corporate irresponsibility.” Most people who purchased the sandwich on Monday thought it was “amazing.”
