Here's Shaq's stats from the 2000 Finals:
Game 1 43pts 19rebs
Game 2 40 pts 24rebs
Game 3 33pts 13 rebs
Game 4 36pts 21rebs
Game 5 35pts 11rebs
Game 6 41pts 12rebs

He averaged 38pts & 17rebs in the finals

But it wasn't Shaq that won that series :comeon:
We really didn't appreciate how great he was man. That's my center man :to:

Come on. Put Vince Carter, T-Mac, AI, Pierce, Murbury, Ray Allen or even :francis: in place of Kobe during that run and they still win 3 'ships.

Those teams were all about Shaq.
There's a reason why they got so much coverage and the debate was so talked about on ESPN was people always dissecting why they didn't just pound the ball in to Shaq all the time so they could coast to damn near 70 win seasons...the team had a better winning record when Shaq played without Kobe then when Kobe played without Shaq.

Sidekicks don't average 28-30 points per season

You want to give Shaq all the credit. You want Shaq to be the HNIC of the Lakers. Fine. Then that fat muthafukka should have won rings with Eddie Jones and Nick Van Exel.....average shooting guards no one would have thought twice about but, instead he had to wait until the second GOAT shooting guard got good enough to help him :scust: You can't have it both ways :scust:
Tracey and Iverson were doing the same thing but they didn't have Shaq and that's why they kept LOSING:laugh:

I dont think that the people claiming that Kobe was on Shaq's level actually watched the lakers from 1999 to 2004.

That was Shaq at his prime. Those fukkers could have run every single play via shaq and they would have broken the 72-10 bulls record. That's how scary Diesel was. The only problem was his general work ethic. Kobe got elevated the same way that a player like Chalmers sometimes looked like a worldbeater playing alongside Wade and Lebron. He was important but he was the least of the other team's worries on defense and offense. In a way, it actually helped Kobe develop but he was sidekick just like Pippen was.

Nothing was wrong with Shaq's worth ethic at all..he was beasting on every fukking body. But Kobe lobbed up a lot of bullshyt shots for years when they should of kept giving Shaq that ball to make it easier. Very simple. LOL...cats always trying to rewrite history.

Don't everyone consider Pippen a sidekick?

Jordan couldn't win until Pippen became a perennial All Star

Jordan has the Finals MVPs he gets the credit :mjpls:

Shaq got the Finals MVPs, yall want Kobe to give credit :dwillhuh:

Sorry but Kobe was a sidekick

Exactly Kobe was the sidekick and than he became the Alpha and Gasol or Bynum became the side kick...But the fact is Kobe was still a side kick and at one point he was even behind Eddie Jones and Ced Ceballos so he was clearly a side kick.

How many fukking halftime shows during the money years did they often and always talk about why Kobe kept shooting instead of pounding it in to Shaq for the easiest dunks in history? Everyone was dumb founded by that shyt...it was a CONTINUOUS topic for YEARS:laugh:
:dead:No matter how much times you say this doesn't make it true. Maybe on Earth-1602 but not this reality:heh:.

Shaq wouldn't have won more than one championship without Kobe... It's already been proven.

Shaq was the most "dominant" player in the series because of his opposition... But Who did he play against directly? Vlade? Smitts? Ratliff? Mutumbo? How hard was it to drop 30 on them nikkas?

Yet Kobe was playing the best guards and then playing DEFENSE on the best guards... Even when they lost to the Pistons he was making life hell for Rip Hamilton..

Shaq didn't even win shyt with Penny, Jones, Van Exel, etc... He didn't even win shyt when he tried to piggy back with Lebronze

Shaq is great, don't get me wrong. But he wasn't a champion until he met Kobe and if people don't understand that then they're most likely borderline retarded when it comes to basketball :manny:

This entire post is fallacy and fantasy

1. List the perimeter players (in the west) that kobe shutdown in the playoffs who were notable (i'll wait)

2. Lakers were getting crushed by detroit and kobe couldn't guard billups (Thread about this somewhere) and rip did his thing

3. Mutombo was DPOY in 2001 but i guess to you he was trash right

4. Shaq wasn't a champion until he was gifted the goat coach in his prime. Kobe was a secondary reason
