Bates got $16m per, every other free agent safety has gotten between $6-$8m. I'm guessing CGJ wants that Bates number while teams who are interested (Eagles, Broncos) are in that $10-$12m range.

I feel bad for breh because he had a good year on a great team and should be able to cash in, but the league lowkey told him what they think of him already. Saints shopped him all summer and no one beat the Eagles offer of a 5th & 6th. He's a jack of all trades/master of none who most teams would rather pay as a slot corner.
