I remember being young watcjing that video of cops beating Rodney King on Inside Edition...and that was my first introduction to racism in America at 7 years old.

Why didn't they use those tanks I see in historic videos?Anybody from the Westside specially Slauson and Crenshaw? Do y'all remember seeing the chrenshaw plaza burned to the ground. it was a crazy time because the SWAT was using the RTD/MTA as transport and mom had drive those cacs around so I was shook.
