No were not :heh:

Not every squad has 2 rookie lottery picks and another on the All Rookie Team, and they also happen to play in LA

This could all blow up, but you have to admit we've stumbled into a good situation A.B. (After Bean)

We sure it's gonna be After Bean? :mjpls:

What's even more impressive is they've built through the draft: Clarkson+Randle+Okafor/Towns all drafted and all are going to grow together. Last year's draft was major. They practically got two top 5 picks in a loaded draft.

They could use the free agency to get shooters/defenders/bench and one more star that won't throw off the chemistry. I can completely see this team competing in 2-3 years. That Randle injury may have been an enormous help for the franchise, although I hate to see it.

Also the fact that this team may be picking in the top 10 next year too is :wow:. Then that year after all the cats drafted these last two years will put it all together.

They're going to have a ton of talent moving forward.

All that's true, except our pick is only Top 3 protected. So unless the Jew Bear blesses us again, we'll probably lose that pick

You're right, I overlooked that.

I'm confident though we did/will do our main damage to the league this year and last year draft-wise. I edited my last post to mention including this year we've pretty much grabbed three top 5 picks (who also got the right mentality) and that's made this rebuild process go faster.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Jah has the same standing reach as the much vaunted Andrew Bogut. And here's Bogut's listed weaknesses from 2005:

And Marc Gasol?

So why is it that a 19-year-old can't improve?

Marc is a legit 7 footer, don't even know why you're bringing him up, he's not much of a shot blocker but he's an excellent team defender and he's also around 3-4" taller than Jahlil :ld: Also, this is about putting him with Randle.

As for Bogut, like @tremonthustler1 said he was never viewed as awful on defense, just a dude that could be better because of his physical tools. If the Wolves take Jahlil yall will be calling him terrible on defense and you know it :Chill1:

Who would you take at number 2? Russell, Emmanuel or Okafor?

I'd take Okafor, but I'd move Randle at some point for a defensive PF or sign one and bring Randle off the bench. There isn't a single successful team in the league with a frontcourt you can attack on defense. Okafor will be similar to Cousins, and you'll notice the Kings are seriously thinking of drafting Cauley Stein to have a defender cover for Cousins, who has improved but still isn't in the same class as the elite defensive bigs.

I don't think the Lakers can afford to take Mudiay or Russell and not have them pan out, there will be a lot more patience with Jahlil and I think he's pretty much a sure thing.
