There's no doubt about it my brother but The Last of Us is a work of art, UC2 fukkery is on another level, this one is just straight goonery and work .
It's innovative as fukk. next, Naughty Dogg gonna come with an open world game and crush the market.

Wasn't saying it was better. I was saying that they are similar in gameplay dynamics, but gave the edge in writing to TLOU.

Not really. Tomb Raider's combat was really terrible and the shooting mechanics were very novice(compare using the bow and arrow in the two games) It was a lower scare version of UC without the smoothness

there are a few games I have near the top. Tlou definitely had the story aspect but I loved everything about uncharted 2, red dead redemption, mass effect 2, gears 1 and god of war 3. I cant say tlou just yet until some time passes. There are just too many great games to say tlou definitively just yet.

Visually, my favorite game of this generation. Easily in my top 5 overall too.

Almost 2 years later I'm still playing Skyrim.

While my copy of The Last Of Us is sitting in the used game section of my local GameStop.

the crown goes to Red Dead to me...not just the open world aspect but outside of the Last of Us i have never felt like the world itself was a character in the game.

Yeah if Last of us was more open it would be no doubt for me but good regardless. Mine has to be red dead and I'm glad that the next metal gear looks open world.
