Whats wrong with that. Should all games be the way you described? It doesnt sound like a fault of the game but more so you're preference on what the game should be.

Is there a difficulty harder than hard? It says survivor under hard after i beat it but it doesnt allow me to select it.
I voted yes, but Uncharted 2 is right there.

that's what I've been saying the entire time. I'm not faulting the game. Just giving my preference.

I'm not sure what trash rating your referring to. But I do disagree with all the perfect ratings it was getting. Even for what it's aiming for it isn't perfect(A.I. issues) I think the industry gives too much credit for story/presentation and not enough for gameplay or fun factor.

Game play mechanics were goat, the shooting was excellent and the gun fights you get into can be very strategic and intense. You should have played on hard mode, friend. Give you a little more challenge.
Just gonna have to disagree with you on this one. I've had more fun playing plenty of other games this gen

I don't think any game I've ever played has had me this emotionally caught up. The Mass Effect series didn't even capture my emotions like this. Whenever one of my teammates died in Mass Effect, I was like dang I hate it had to be him. Okay lets keep it moving
In the Last of Us , just having the fear that one of your own possibly is terrifying in itself. Each cinematic had me clinched to my seat looking like
. I don't know what it is, but this game was just overwhelming, and I seemed to care about Ellie's well being more than the surroundings. My sole purpose for existing was to protect even if it meant my life. Mass Effect had some of the best characterization I had seen up until this point, but even still I wasn't that emotionally torn by events in the story.
If I had to go with a top 3 pick for games this gen, it would look like this:
3. Mass Effect 2
2. Uncharted 2
1. Last of Us

i already said i was purchasing this game because it had a multiplayer attached to it months ago. it doesn't matter how great a campaign is, i'm not paying 65 dollars just for single player.
why do y'all think they even add multiplayers to everything?
