Tonight is the night. I’ve successfully avoided any footage and spoilers of this game for months. Only saw the initial trailer and refused to peep any gameplay outside of that. I won’t be checking back in this thread outta fear that some clown is gonna reply with a spoiler.

On a side note- a lot of weird ass clowns exposing themselves in this thread with the “OMG it’s so violent I can’t take it” angle.

I remember when gamefly used to be on point. I would always get my game 2 days from the day they shipped on the dot but after a while they fell off horribly and games would sometimes take a damn week or more to arrive.

All you had to do was put whatever new game was dropping on Tuesday in your Q before hand and it would ship that Monday and you got it on Wednesday .Gamefly held me down when I was too broke to buy games like that

Last time I subscribed to them was last year for Greedfall and Ace Combat 7. I remember Greedfall taking about a week. I waited 2 weeks for AC7 before I reported it missing. They sent me another copy in two days and then another copy came in the mail a day after. I'm not sure which one was the late copy

Decided to cancel after that, they fed me well and much faster last gen.

Had to pre-order digitally. Amazon was on some nut shyt. Been looking at it since Sunday with no delivery date. Finally updated yesterday and they talm bout Tuesday. Yall expect me to miss FIVE days of play time??

I still remember playing the first one, I had gotten it early and didn’t really know anything about it. Ended up being glued to the ps3 all weekend. Was a pleasant surprise to say the least.

game ended up being longer than I imagined too. I remember when I got to the Joel injury I thought I was close to the end. NOPE!

I literally just passed that part on the remastered last night. I was playing it on grounded and I won't lie, the amount of times I had to retry that part before you trigger the scene where he falls was embarrassing.

Not gonna lie, the gameplay feels a bit janky at times The shooting/gun sounds is nice but there's been a few times some bullshyt jank happened that killed me. Part 2 being a whole generation later looks like night and day

I pre ordered a month ago and thought my delivery was on some bullshyt the last couple days, I usually get emails updating me on shipping/processing ect..kept checking the last couple days with the site telling me it was unshipped

got that email this morning tho to say it’s on its way for tomorrow morning

I played through only a few months ago with my wife (she’s not really a gamer but we were locked down and she just wanted to see what the fuss was about) for the first time in a couple years, This was like my 5th playthrough, and 7 years later I only JUST started to notice the gameplay feeling dated, mainly movement/control wise

And yeah grounded is no joke, it’s one of the only games in recent memory where it’s hardest mode is actually genuinely hard, for me it was the hospital and the library in pittsburgh that killed me the most times
