And as far as telling her the truth, would the cure have worked at all? Granted they would have had to crack her cranium to get her brain, but given how far civilization had fallen there was no guarantee of it being as effective as hoped.

With future iterations of the vaccine it could be made into a spray and spread in the air. Who knows.

Humanity after a cataclysm by nature begins to reestablish the order of things. You have to get past basic survival to establish order. The infected issue needs to be minimized

Since Ellie is the main character, my question is will I still be able to square up with dudes? If so, then I'm good. Joel's knuckle game is the GOAT in a video game.
Slamming enemies' faces into the wall and bashing their head in.
Hitting dudes with a 2X4 with a knife attached at the other end.

Meanwhile, Ellie running up on dudes and trying to square up....

Playing through the first one again, amazing.

I had a thought tho, and I'm sure I'm not the only person to think of this, but why did they never do a DLC focused around Joell during the time he was travelling and surviving with Tommy?

It could of been amazing, its not like it had to be ridiculously longer than Left Behind either, it could of just time skipped between years and important bits showing how Joell came to be the man he was, Like Joell and Tommy dealing with Sara's death, them taking their first human life and how it affected them, travelling and raiding together and Their fallout, and them parting ways, and then have it end with Joell meeting Tess in Boston.
