If it’s 30 hours long, and it needlessly drags the fukk on with nothing happening or progressing, I’d completely agree, but out of the 25 hours worth of gameplay this game has, I could probably only cut out about an hour and a half’s worth of parts I thought weren’t needed
the constant change in scenery helps with this a lot too I think, a lot of Abbys parts are very unique in setting, and then of course the last segment

I am not outraged but I can see he (Druckmann)is consciously doing these things like being an “ally”. He has practically come out and said so himself in the pass. Not a big deal as I am clearly enjoying the game I just pointed it out because I noticed them.

I can't say I'm a fan of the switch in narrative/cliffhanger because TV shows have been using that same storytelling device way too much as of late, but thus far I'm loving the story

I’m currently playing as Abby looking for medical supplies this whole hospital is intense from the atmosphere to the letters you find I’m loving every second of this

I got the version I wanted (no offense old fukks) I’m like wow. One of the illest things i expirenced in gaming

I finished the game last night and I was literally confused on why nerds were pissed. Most likely because they had to play as a woman.
It’s been 7 years after the first game and Joell wasn’t really a “beloved” character on some Nathan Drake, or Lara Craft, or even a Mario
So i don’t get how nerds are THAT mad.
I did not mind it at all. The duel stories of Ellie and Abby being consumed in vengeance made them just as evil and mindless as the infected. By the end of the game Abby and Ellie lost everything. Abby lost her father, her friends, and her people. Ellie lost her only father figure and the love of her life.
Ellie not fulfilling her revenge was fitting. Because at her core it isn’t who she is. She isn’t Abby.
This creators had balls to pretty much make 2 games into one. And I found that quite Intriguing in my opinion.
