it has the most basic 3rd person shooting ever and the A.I was god awful. honestly i think the game is nowhere near as good as people make it out to be. joel and ellie are easily the best part of the game for me everything else is just meh.
Did you play on Survivor or Grounded difficulty?

Yea saw a YouTube
Comment like that

I think Joel is dead and Ellie is hallucinating. He enters the scene through an all white glowing "paradise-like" door. He is there to confirm (in Ellie's head) the reason as to why she is on a killing spree (because someone/the fireflies killed Joel). Hence, he says "you sure you are going through with this kiddo?". Ellie responds "i will find and kill every last one of them" What would make her so mad and frustrated?"

Yeah this is just wrong like, and there's no "in my opinion" that can save it. It's objectively just wrong.

From weapon sway and recoil to weight and responsiveness the shooting in TLoU is just great, arguably even better than uncharted 4, a game that came some years after it. I'd hazard a guess that anybody that feels negative about TLoU shooting don't play a lot of 3rd person shooters in general and/or have never played TLou's multiplayer, that's where it's shooting shines the brightest because you're not hindered by the need to conserve/use ammo sparingly. Also few things feel as good as the bow and arrow in TLoU.

Also yeah, Ellie is goat female video game lead.

Don't even try and mention Lara brehs, them old tomb raider games don't even come close to Ellie's characterization and the new joints she's just the most unlucky girl running into nathan drake type situations, which is ironic since uncharted is heavily influenced by tomb raider but Lara at this point is pretty much the "female drake" only without the humor, although more likeable.

Samus would have a shout if nintendo could write a story or bothered to make new and good metroid games but that's one "if" too many

Ellie the goat :ahh:

fukk why can't devs do it rockstar way. New characters in the same universe.

fukk this bullshyt as sequel . Their story was finished. They're making this just for the sake of making it.

I rather see this story from the perspective of someone else.

:camby:
Agree with this. I wanted new characters, in a new city or maybe even a different country.

Might be too early to say but seems like this is gonna be a revenge-driven plot and as of this moment, I'm not really feeling it.
It will be interesting to find out what happens if that scumbag, Joel ever tells Ellie about the truth. Hoping Naughty Dog don't validate his selfish decision to take Ellie away from the hospital through some bullshyt story telling.

On a side note, anyone else think that the room Ellie was sitting in might be the same room from the Start Menu of the first game?
