Agree with this. I wanted new characters, in a new city or maybe even a different country.

Might be too early to say but seems like this is gonna be a revenge-driven plot and as of this moment, I'm not really feeling it.
It will be interesting to find out what happens if that scumbag, Joel ever tells Ellie about the truth. Hoping Naughty Dog don't validate his selfish decision to take Ellie away from the hospital through some bullshyt story telling.

On a side note, anyone else think that the room Ellie was sitting in might be the same room from the Start Menu of the first game?

Hope it is not a revenge story. Had enough of those...

Also yeah, Ellie is goat female video game lead.

Don't even try and mention Lara brehs, them old tomb raider games don't even come close to Ellie's characterization and the new joints she's just the most unlucky girl running into nathan drake type situations, which is ironic since uncharted is heavily influenced by tomb raider but Lara at this point is pretty much the "female drake" only without the humor, although more likeable.

Samus would have a shout if nintendo could write a story or bothered to make new and good metroid games but that's one "if" too many

nothing about the tomb raider games makes me like/dislike/care about Lara, all I kept thinking about it is "somebody threw some strong juju this bytch way" cause the formula for the new tomb raider games is really just set piece after set piece, I guess she's somewhat likeable cause you end up pitying her on some "damn, shorty can't catch a break shyt"

drake is a sociopathic serial killer, lazarevic on UC2 ethered him on this, but at least he's funny sometimes

MGS5 shows me that these action games can excel in the open world realm.

I don't know about an open world TLOU game, but I've said for a while that they should try it with Uncharted. You're treasure/relic hunter... only makes sense for you to be able have to explore around the environment and find shyt.

I just don't want it to be super linear like the last one a lil more backtracking and freedom to go backwards without small normally moveable obstacles blocking your way

I hope there are some more bosses too and a final boss

I have no complaints about TLOU part 1. Part 2 could literally be the same exact game with Ellie as the main character and a different story with PS4 graphics and I will sing its praises all year. TLOU is gaming at its finest.
