MGS5 shows me that these action games can excel in the open world realm.

I don't know about an open world TLOU game, but I've said for a while that they should try it with Uncharted. You're treasure/relic hunter... only makes sense for you to be able have to explore around the environment and find shyt.

God damn it we have too many fukking open world games. We don't need Uncharted with a million fukking fetch quests and a messy story.

I mean, Uncharted is stale right now. Gameplay is dated, set pieces are cool but you are basically dismissing the idea of an exploration game actually diving more into that.

Another Uncharted with the same gameplay thrown into a different location doesn't excite me. A treasure hunting open world game would be dope af

You can deny it all you want breh. Adding a grappling hook and some more stealth aspects on top of the same stuff we've been doing doesn't scream refreshing gameplay.

:mjlol:

Say what you want about MGS5, the gameplay was awesome in an open world setting. I think Naughty Dog could pull it off

MGSV's gameplay could exist outside of a open world game. MGSV's gameplay is praised due to it's wealth of options due to it's design, not because it's simply an open world game.

I rather ND improve and add more to the wide linear approach. They toyed around with it in UC4 like CHP 10 had some of that going but there wasn't much to it but some trinkets to find and a few random outposts. A mix is better than straight up open world.

Edit: UC4 feels better to play as a shooter imo than MGSV. Shoot me :yeshrug: MGSV only works because of the level design and tools/weapons. Strictly as a shooter it's not that great(e.g. the feel of shooting shyt.)

Didn't know that unfinished games can be better than complete ones

:ohhh:

:troll:

Uncharted 4 is also a unfinished game if you want to keep it 100 :mjpls: just look at the multiplayer

Because the rpg elements mgsv replay value is way better than uc4 mgsv was dope as fukk so was uc4 but once I beat no need for me to go back i just hit chap 2 in mgsv I'm still having fun unlocking shyt

Uc4 shipped with a half ass multiplayer
