I just finished, and apart from an ending decision which I’m not sure I’m entirely happy with, I’m in awe of this journey, I cannot believe a game this fukking long stayed that damn consistent throughout the entire journey, what a fukking ride man

I’m still lost for how this game is getting dragged through the mud by the gaming community atm for its “bad story”

I dont even have to go into the gameplay with y’all

Man I had my 5.1 set super high for this game, and I literally almost jumped out my chair when I heard those voices. And I even knew the shyt would happen because of that noise trap you set off

I personally feel like it's neck and neck. The second half has WAY bigger dangers going on than what was going on in the first half, but the first half has so many amazing moments that you can't help but think, "If they were to roll the credits right now, it'd make absolute sense."

People who keep talking about how Naughty Dog ruined the story don't know what they're saying. Preferring the first game is understandable, because it's a lot more straightforward. But as a game itself, encompassing everything in it? Idunno, I gotta give Part II the W here.

I don’t think there’s much critique to be had in the story. Ppl might not agree with it, but I wouldn’t say it was flawed, and I definitely disagreed with parts. I feel like that’s what makes a truly great story. It’s not our story or vision at the end of the day, we’re just supposed to enjoy it. That the characters are able to evoke such visceral responses is a testament to how well written, acted, and voiced the characters are. I could understand every characters’ POV, and they were extremely layered. It is straight up film status

The level design is it damn near feels like an open world, and you’re rarely pointed in a direction, but you always figure it out, after finding secrets along the way. It’s pretty organic, even with the barriers for the most part. ND earned the all time stamp. I won’t ever doubt em until they fail

I tried going back to part 1, started crab walking with joel and uninstalled the game

I started on hard, and customized the resources to moderate because I actually want to experiement with all my options on 1st playtthrough

I'm considering doing this instead of going all normal like I'm presently doing
I originally started on all survivor mode but I enjoy using the weapons more
Survivor mode felt like I was playing metal gear solid sometimes with all the stealth
I might do survivor and customize resources to moderate

I bought it after I realized ion give a fukk what cacs have to say. Gameplay is Fuego and story is spectacular so far, but different in a good way.

Ion think her sexuality really factors into more than 5% of the games storyline so far IMO.
