I understand the desire to have the series end at Part II. Life is full of unanswered questions…

However…I want more.

Where/how would you take the story?

The story has to be done WELL. Can’t be corny, can’t be cliche.

What would the overarching theme be? Who would your lead character(s) be?

What if Druckman and Craig Mazin co-wrote/produced it? (Mazin brought some great ideas to the table for the HBO series).

I want more, brehs.

Let’s brainstorm and figure this shyt out.

Considering part 2 was poorly done, part 3 won't even make sense in continuing that branch.

The best and only option is picking back up in finding the cure. It could be Ellie or it could be a new group.

Im about 60% confident it ends with Ellie sacrificing herself to make the cure and maybe some BS peace with Abby

Very unpopular opinion but I think they should redo TLOU Part 2 and set it in an alternate timeline where
Joel didn’t die and they both went out to find another way to get a cure but encounter new and potentially old enemies along the way.

Realistically there’s no story left to tell since Joel is dead and Ellie lost most of her fingers and probably can’t even shoot a gun correctly.

Like @Ezekiel 25:17 said, TLOU 2 was very poorly written and it basically gave us very few options for a Part 3.
