I already covered that and agree. Y'all acting like fans ain't allowed to criticize. From what I've seen nobody is going over the top shytting on the show or saying the show is horrible due to the changes (outside of the weirdos going so hard about casting). What's the point of the message board if not to express criticisms and praise about what we're watching. The story beats that are missing or different have nothing to do with the bolded, they are mainly just one on one conversations.

My only complaint is making Ellie feel more like a liability in the show vs the game. It truly feels like this shyt would have went much smoother if it was Dina and Jesse. I see why Tommy didn’t want her going out there doing this.

But Dina though…

They even gave her listen mode lol. When she hit R1 in the subway, that was fire.

My issue with these takes are we aren't seeing Ellie and Dina 24-hours a day. They could have bathed in a body of water somewhere. Their clothes would still stink by this point unless they washed them in said body of water and let them dry overnight. Dina is also carrying some items around, possibly deodorant

I think we can all agree they both stank. Women stink after comjng home from the club. So you stank if you on horseback travelling and being chased by zombies all while fighting off other humans. These bytches ain't no kind of clean.

To be fair, Joel in the show is a combat veteran from Desert Storm. Also, he was 56 in the first season. Definitely not spry but not "old".

NOTE: I'm not saying that Joel being a one-man killing machine is realistic, but it is more "believable" than tiny Ellie.

It's a chokehold. Aint much any person can do when someone got them in a chokehold by surprise and they quick enough to lock it in. She wasnt "handling" him either. The only reason he was out quicker and put up as much fight as he did was because of the fact Ellie is small and weak as hell.
