I don’t mind sex scenes or nudity…my issue is the arrival at the theatre and following scene

signifies Ellie’s descent into a bitter rage due to her want for revenge. She starts throwing her relationships with her friends to the wayside in the chase for Abby. The show didn’t convey that with this scene but they’re going in a different direction so we’ll see.

Yeah, that's why I said it turned into a teen romance drama. Dina tells Ellie she's pregnant, and then they go right into the sex scene. That was jarring.

That should've been an "Oh fukk!" moment, not a "Let's fukk" moment lol.

Don't like how they changed up the tone of the arrival at the theatre as well Dina telling Ellie she's pregnant. They shying away from the grittiness of the 2nd game to make this a generic zombie/survival show.

Yeah the tone is mad different

Never played the game so I just started watching the show as a... show.

First season was entertaining and good IMO.

This second season, nah. I'm out.

I will say that this doesn't carry the heavy, dark ass tone the game has.. I'm trying not to compare the two, but that tone was one of the main reasons the game even existed.. Ellie was completely irrationally hell bent on revenge.. There was no smiles once she got to Seattle..

Eh i caught a live of the game when making food and she gets caught up in Dinas lightheartedness a bit when they’re roaming about Seattle in Day One (which this episode title uses too).

They did go overboard and I do expect her to straighten up going forward tho
