Maybe because I was a fan of Abby in the game, but I feel like the show hasn't really made the viewer hate Abby nearly as much as the game did.

And adapt the Theater encounter with Abby as the finale, I think the TV audience is gonna despise Abby and be even less inclined to watch her story or feel "her side" unfold in the three days in Seattle than we did during the game

At least when we played it we could do it ASAP if we wanted. TV only people are only gonna know Abby as the bytch that killed Joel, Jesse AND shot up Tommy. Then have to wait like 2-3 years to see season 3 and having to sit through her hellish adventure? it's risky as fukk what Mazin is trying to do here. Like I said in the spoiler thread, they better cast the most lovable Lev on the planet to make people engage with that story

That's one of my biggest gripes about the game and something I wished they fixed with the TV show

They should have spliced Ellie and Abby's POVs going back and forth as opposed to doing Ellie's first, then Abby's then back to Ellie. I understand why they did it in the game as not to disrupt the different gameplay styles (stealth with Ellie and combat with Abby), but the TV show should've fixed that aspect with the storytelling.

I don’t like how they’re doing Seattle but I know the game is hard to recreate so I wonder what non-gamers think about this season?

The game was just too good and in depth.

I haven’t played either game. This season isn’t bad but it’s not close to season 1. There’s some illogical writing, but that can be overlooked.

My biggest gripe is that the performances have fallen off without Pedro. Isabella is stepping up big time though. Bella isn’t selling it for me. Doesn’t help that she’s like 5 ft tall either

What I feel that is brilliantly convey that a cure wasn't going to save humanity as they been reduced to savages.

Yet, the introduction of spores and stalkers weighs on Joel's decision in a way that's not in Ellie control is quite fascinating.

Things are still somehow are managing to get worse now that Ellie survived. I do imagine that this was a long term narrative move to bring back Spore.

Because there is no logical reason to bring back spores unless it's for a reason. Fans quickly adjusted to the tendrils. Bring it back has to be a bigger picture interpretation of the spores. Possibly the endgame for the fungi

He said " I am not going past the video games", but more than likely what happens is that he steps down as show runner for someone else or they do a spinoff series.

Which the latter is what probably happens.

shyt was funny, she made it sound good as hell. But was ready to leave back to Jackson the first chance she got when Ellie wanted to stay after Jessie wanted to go back

Only thing I dont like is how Ellie seems to be dumb as hell. Seems like she should be the one telling Dina about all this shyt and how to maneuver. They made Ellie seem completely inept. She learned nothing from Joel/Jackson/Tommy?
