It was to make the viewers not like them, just like when they had Jesse and Ellie see the WLF drag that dude out.The Ellie and Seraphite scene really wasn't necessary.. unless there's some future foretelling it felt like filler
Why didn't those crazy ass cultists just kill Ellie real quick?![]()
I disagree bro.. They already showed that two episodes ago when they ripped out dude's guts..It was to make the viewers not like them, just like when they had Jesse and Ellie see the WLF drag that dude out.
To show that both groups are fked up
Now the writer of the game is explaining that they cut the Ellie landing on Scar Island..
Likely because it didn't serve anything to the story..

I just played this level today for the first time since the original release. They just skipped the dozens of WLF that Ellie kills to get to the Aquarium. You had to steal the boat from WLF and make your way to it. The moment between her and Jesse occurs in the middle of the level where Jesse goes to get Tommy and she goes to get Abby. The ending scene was done well, very by the book, great transition.
The episode itself was... meh? It's been a minute, so I don't remember Ellie's Day 3 as well, but it had to be more than just that, right?
Time to see how people will react to Abby being front and center in Season 3.
I got a feeling that it'll be better based on the reactions to Season 2. This season felt like an answer to "What if TLOU1 Ellie was in TLOU2?" except she doubled down and turned down every chance she had to go back to Jackson, despite her outright saying they should go back multiple times.
