looking place she's talking and moving her fingers around looks so childish and autisty.

A spectrum Brit at that. She got older and more autistic
The fact that she actually found out she is austic irl during S1 makes these posts even funnier :dead:

Speaking to British Vogue (via The Mirror), they said: "I got diagnosed with autism when I was filming season one of The Last Of Us."

There have already been numerous traumatic events that have happened in Ellie's life already. A "certain major event"* shouldn't have to happen to cause that.

*(yes, I know what that is referring to)
She’s only 19.

Sometimes it takes something catastrophic to happen.

Anyways it’s literally just a TV show. I just want to be entertained lol.

Yeah, but she's a 19-year-old that has grown up entirely in a post-apocalyptic world. She's not a regular 19-year-old.

I want to be entertained too, but Ellie still acting childish and reckless isn't entertaining (to me at least).

She’ll get humbled. She’s just 19 🤷🏽‍♂️

Was that a gas pipe in the middle of the town filled with tendrils?

asking because i was wondering why they didn't set it on fire if it isn't a gas pipe

It's definitely Cordyceps. But, it was shown in a way so that the viewers know what the fukk is happening, but the town people won't. Granted they will discover it, but it will likely be too late. There was an episode last season that showed how the hive is connected. So that little strand is going to have widespread repercussions.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
So if we are going by the game, next week should be the gut punch for those who didn’t play the game.

Why do y’all do stuff like this? Like, for real? Why is it so difficult for people who have a little information to not be dry-spoilers or flat-out spoilers?

What is being spoiled? That something terrible is going to happen in a show about the zombie plant apocalypse and psychos?

Well, Id be shocked anything bad happens in that world personally :ld:

I mean, to claim next week is the "gut punch" - now you're putting it in ppl's heads that something drastic/season altering is going down next episode, and they're specifically looking out for it vs the preferred blind experience. It's like when ppl recommend a movie to you and mention there's a crazy plot twist. Sure it's not a complete spoiler, but it still kinda is.

But with that being said, there is a demo of ppl that have made it their life purpose to spoil/make lil 'iykyk' type comments about Part 2 for 5 years now, so honestly non-gamers should be going completely dark from internet discussions if they made it this far lol.

Just sitting down to watch it now.

What Gustavo Santaolalla did with that theme song can’t be understated. As soon as I hear those guitar rifts I’m transported to release date of the first game when I stayed up waiting for the lock on the preload on my PS3 to disappear so I could play right away. Incredible stuff.

This is common with tv shows that are based on previously released content such as games or comics. The same issue with people dry spoiling in the Invincible thread. I dont think posters are trying to spoil on purpose, just they may forget a lot of people do not have prior knowledge to the source material and they still want to discuss and drop gems, but that can ruin the experience for people who are going in blind.

Listen…. I don’t know if you’d dudes are slow or what, but most people have something we call deductive capability. I already know what’s going to happen, but let’s pretend I did not. The show opens with an individual stating something extemely specific about a specific character. You then have a whole legion of dudes openly talking about the “big” thing that’s going to happen.

WTF? Again, I played the game, but I legit would could‘ve connected these dots when I was like in 3rd grade. Yes, that’s a spoiler. You’re priming people for something that hasn’t happened, but is “big” that has been intimated on the show—but has not occurred, yet.

I don’t understand why it’s so hard for people not to do stuff like that. It makes no sense.
