The show did a great job with Joel's death. I thought they'd milk it longer than the second episode though

I hope the show does a better job with Abby's arch because I feel like I was in the minority by being Team Abby by the end of the second game.

Most rational folks who didn't see Joel as a surrogate or their daddy could see things from Abby's side especially when you break down how selfish Joel's act was. Still was fun hunting them hoes down tho Only wish was being able to put hands on bytch ass Manny

I didn’t think I’d feel as strongly for pedro as i don’t feel so connected with his verison of joel as i did when i played as him for 20 hours previously.

but that scene still hits

I hate that they took away the surprise element of Abby..

In the game you had no idea who she was then Joel saves her. Then she just kills Joel..

I would rather the audience who hadn't played the game had any chance to empathize with Abby by knowing her reasoning..

But I get that might be too bold for TV.. maybe..

But damn they killed that scene.. And the added element of Jackson being under attack was dope

My Joel killed everybody in the room in Part 1. I didn't know that wasn't an option in my first playthrough. That mf had it coming from Abby

I really hope the show gives Abby some backstory with the flashbacks of her with her dad like the game did. Same with the flashbacks of Ellie and Joel in the museum.

Yara & Lev will probably win Abby over with the audience. But then again, mfs probably going to get mad with Lev being trans

Interested in seeing how Seattle is designed for the show...it was some of my favorite gameplay of any game ever

Yea, playing part 2 right now since it dropped on PC. I beat it on PS4 years ago but they damn near stuck to the game script 100%. At least like 92%. Only things they changed was the zombie attack on the settlement and Joel being with Dina fine freaky ass (ole girl cute and loose ASF lol).

It's funny they made Elie unattractive compared to her pretty game counterpart, Abby cute compared to her cocky ass unattractive game counterpart, and Dina cold ASF compared to the slightly cute chick in the game. They wilding on that tip.
