I absolutely hate we gotta wait 2, sometimes 3 damn years in between seasons… when the fukk did that shyt become normal?

HBO notorious for this with their big budget hits.

But yea, now we gotta wait 2 fukking years to find out what happened. Not only that, they probably gonna wait until the last episode to show what happened to Ellie.

If you had just PLAYED AND FINISHED BOTH GAMES you’d see that it was the same. Just didn’t know how to swim in the first one but swims in a storm in the second one.

She knows how to swim in the 2nd game the flashbacks of the Museum starts with Joel shoving her to a river then both of them swim their way to enter the place.

They're really missing the Ellie training with Joel stuff from the game. Those training scenes with Jessie goes against things a bit. The way the plot moves just doesn't work with how she can get magically bailed out of every scenario right now. It'd make sense to know she was out there with Joel and Tommy being a little battle tested.

Really feel like they could of spent a whole season on just building up to Joel's death.

I'm pretty open to changes in adaptations. I think 1 to 1 adaptations are useless and derivative for financial purposes. Having said that damn near every change made here is less about any sort of creative expression or new ideas and more about saving time. I can't roll with that. I think these prestige shows make a lot less money than people realize so I'm not one of these goofies saying "why rush its a cash cow" or some variation of that dumb shyt. However you get to a point in cutting shyt where you start hurting the narrative and I feel like we got that here to a large extent.

If they were cleared for like 4 more seasons on top of that, but I think that would cause some viewer fatigue like TWD. I’m kind of glad they got it out of the way early. I just wish the first and second seasons weren’t so condensed.

Walking dead didn't start declining in viewership till season 7 and those season had an average of 16 episodes.

I just think Neil or Maz didn't want spend huge significant portion of their lives on this series.

Either you do it right and it keeps building. GOT had it till the final season. Walking Dead with all of it's flaws. Had it for a insanely long time.

Van basically called this the worst episode of tv he has ever watched. Said Bella one of the most unlikable and unrelatable characters he can think of recently.

They crammed so much story in that final episode that wasn’t needed. That entire 10 minute boat trip wasn’t necessary.
