I can respect how they addressed the fact that Ellie and Abby were supposed to be equally as bad in the game and it was just impossible to dislike Ellie that much. Showrunners just decided to make Ellie completely insufferable for an entire season.

Ellie actress aint bad. I like lynanna mormont. They just put her in shytty situations and logic and dialog. She sposed to care about dina being pregnant and the most they do is have asian guy say “i wan get my kid the ruck outta here”. Barely even scratch the surface of her bloodlust.
They rushed it, made he make impulsive decisions without like sitting in the situation and dialoging it out proper. Just scene to scene. Dumb move to dumb move.
Like some have said i never played 2, but its the things they go through that tells the story. Here she isnt really going through much. Just killing people left and right with almost no danger. Tryna gun down groups of people alone to help?

They harping on this cycle of revenge thing too much. Never gonna like abby. What she did was not ok. Joel shot people yes. Killed her father yes. Fast. She tortures him to death. Its NOT the same thing.
They gon repeat the mistakes they made and double down because of whatever messaging they wan get across.

I really don’t get people because last season everyone praised the bill and frank episode and everyone on here agreed it was dumb as hell and did nothing to progress the plot. But since everyone on social media and hollywood praised it the entire series got elevated and thats the main episode i heard about.
Feel like with a lot of pop culture people just follow the way the wind is blowing. I’ve seen people this season praise and ep and come back 3 days later and say its wack

I’m ngl, they tug on your heart strings about as well as a TV show can do, esp a show where you don’t like the main character
It’s hard to give them props exclusive of the show and not keep in mind how much of a run they were on with the games. I’d give it a 6-7/10 season all in all

when GoT killed Ned they still had Jon at the war, Robb assembling his army and Tyrion doing whatever Tyrion does, there was nothing else to the show.
Succession killed Logan , ppl were rooting for Tom, I wasn't I was rooting for Connor, but still.

They kinda gotta do it like this with how they chose to deviate from the game’s story telling device and the fact that the show runner, for some reason, went public with saying they’d need a S4. I don’t know why he did that
IDK what they can use a s4 for unless they plan on expounding quite a bit on the last section of the game.

You think this series would be better if they chose to do the constant switching between both sides like the game did?
