I’m just live streaming my thoughts at this point, sorry for spamming

But they do a bit of an injustice to both Abby and Tommy in this episode. Abby is supposed to be THE guy around her way, but my inclination is to just scoff at that because we haven’t seen the body of work (and won’t for 2 years). What she did at the end also comes off less impressive because we got virtually no Tommy, at least not in an action sense.

Her conquering the game Tommy

I was starting up a rewatch of a TLOU2 walk through last week…kinda just interested to recall how little (or much) happens between that season ending and the series ending.

You think this series would be better if they chose to do the constant switching between both sides like the game did?
Neil is executive producer and show runner. He probably wasn't going to allow it.

I really don’t get people because last season everyone praised the bill and frank episode and everyone on here agreed it was dumb as hell and did nothing to progress the plot. But since everyone on social media and hollywood praised it the entire series got elevated and thats the main episode i heard about.

Feel like with a lot of pop culture people just follow the way the wind is blowing. I’ve seen people this season praise and ep and come back 3 days later and say its wack :dead:
I remember a lot of us liking the Bill/Frank episode, that shyt was really well made and written :dame: And again, it touched on the season's main theme: love

I would've loved a WLF/Seraphite centric episode that expanded on their beef and both factions thirst for revenge. They are probably saving that for the 3rd season but this one lacked focused. Eps 4, 5 and 7 juggled with way too many stuff and revenge was the least of it, which makes it hard to understand why the fukk they still in Seattle :heh:

Are the games worth playing? Not sure I want to wait 2 years.

also curious if Ellie is as annoying in the game as she is on TV
Last Of Us 2 was one of my most enjoyable experiences with a single player game. There really is no comparison with what you’ll go through as Ellie in the game and what they did with her in the show this season.

TBF about Ellie, a lot of YouTube reactors were annoyed with Ellie but for a different reason. It was
more about her being upset with Joel.

But absolutely, if any game is worth playing it's this one.

I actually didn’t even like season 1 lol. I think I love the games too much and am becoming a purist old head. Didn’t even bother with s2 and now with the reactions probably won’t check for it.

How do you and @Ezekiel 25:17 feel about it.

You 2 are my devil and my angel on my shoulders

I’ll let yall decide or figure out who is the Devil and who is the Angel

Mid. When Ellie gave that bullshyt "community" speech, she said Tommy would want her to go kill Abby. That doesnt work because we know exactly how Tommy felt. He straight up said he wouldnt. Hell he basically said Joel wouldnt even be doing all this/risk going for revenge when he said "Joel would do it to save me". Jesse was right to tell her off, I hate how they mended shyt at the end with him saying "I know you would burn down everything save me". No the fukk she wouldnt. She wouldnt even come help Tommy.

I also hate how she bytched up when abby came "I killed them by accident :mjcry:". Talk yo shyt now, you big and bad right?
If Ellie was more psychotic people would absolutely have an issue with that as well. There's always people who whine about "I have nobody to root for" in shows where the main characters are multi layered and nobody is really "good"
Sopranos didnt have that problem. Dexter, a show about a serial killer, didnt have that problem. Hell, people were even rooting for Hannibal Lecter in that TV show. That's because the writers did their job. There is a way to write Ellie where the fans like her even though she killing people. Also no one is asking her to go rambo and take out 200 people.

Besides that "nobody to root for" thing wouldnt be a problem in this show. Fans have Dina/Jesse/Tommy etc to root for since they are just pure good.

The first one is one of the most heralded of the modern era of gaming. The second is arguably one of the most polarizing of that same era :mjlol:

From what I’ve played (I’ve watched the story all the way thru but not played all of it), it’s really good mechanics and it definitely accomplishes the tension and terror that most good zombie games can. There’s a level really early on in TLOU 1 that made that I sucked at doing because I was so focused on not getting pincer attacked by these fukkers
