I fukking hate with a passion mafukkas that take shyt personally and act like they made the fukking show or movie and cry like a bytch like people can't have their own opinions about the shyt.

Like you such a loser cry baby spoiled brat that you dying over someone not thinking this shyt was a perfect season.

Its fresh in my memory because I just played this level before the finale. Instead of the Scar/Ellie scene on the island, they probably should have included a remix of the mini-boss fight Ellie has with the Bloater in the arcade right before she heads to the Aquarium. Probably would have blown the budget but we at least get one more action scene because there were no zombie scenes in the last 2 episodes of the season. I think a couple of great action scenes of Ellie getting to the aquarium would have tampered some of the criticism of the finale because they pretty much hit all the main beats of the game up to this point.

Going by what Mazin said about season 3, I think we probably get 10 episodes next season with the first 5 eps being from the Abby perspective including alot more of Jeffrey Wright, then we start intertwining them with Ellie and Tommy.

I’m also not a fan of how they’re portraying her. Either she’s with the shyts or not. I’m tired of her being one sec and the next.

Why tf would she want to save a scar kid?
Why is she hesitating to clap Abby’s friends?

7 episodes and this is how they decided to end the season. And these motherfukkers are talking about wanting to do 4 seasons. That means the show wouldn't likely end until 2029/2030 at the rate they are on. You are out of your got damn minds if you think that works. Especially when you only had 7 episodes and you did mostly fukk all with it. It had moments and then it missed in a lot of ways. I don't think I can avoid shytting on how petulant they've chose to make Ellie in season 2. I was completely on board with splitting the game into 2 seasons. But, I wasn't expecting this. I don't know if I've got it in me to wait 2 years to watch whatever bullshyt they are going to give us.

For reference, the season 1 finale drew over 8 million

to be fair, it was going up against the Knicks Pacers eastern conference playoff game

But with that said damn near every YouTube, who reviews this show is calling it the worst finale of all time …

One of the big things during the game run was people hated Ellie (mostly) and Abbie because one was gay and the other one was built like Randy Orton.

Yes, there were plenty ppl just pilling on, but, it got to the point ppl protected this convoluted ass plot just to do it.

Part of the problem with s hating on the story is y'all couldn't stay in code. You got 2 contingents of folks shìtting on the story: the ones calling it too simple vs. others who call it too complicated. Additionally, both sides subscribed to the 'TOO WOKE' narrative because of reasons you stated.

These same folks will play ungabunga ass Doom 3 times in 9 years and call them great games, but openly shyt on something with far superior gameplay and story elements. Y'all not slick whoadie

Maybe if I played the game I'd have an appreciation for her character
But from what they've shown, I don't get how/why she's 'winning' so far

She completed her mission (kill Joel) in such a convenient manner, in record time
She got the drop on Tommy (in the theatre), by herself...?
And killed Jesse

She hasn't shown any type of skill that would warrant such impactful actions here

Maybe I'm missing something, but this show/season is average at best

The same must be said about Ellie. Her character is even worse in suspending imagination. In the game, Abby is the top soldier in WLF so it’s more believable what she’s capable of. And she’s a body builder so she physically imposing even to men and commanding of her team. In the show she is clearly a little ass woman and they compensate her lack of commanding air and physique by having Isaac say she was tapped to be the leader and that’s it.

Umm that was a vocal minority. The general fan base had no issue with Ellie being gay during the original game. And after the initial release, the story was regarded as one of the best ever and her character just as beloved as Joel with everyone knowing full well she’s gay.

When part 2 came out only the “new” people bytched about her being gay because all of us had already known she was gay from the original game.
