You see what happens when the Spurs focus on keeping Lebron out the paint? He's not comfortable with the idea of taking down a solid team from outside for an entire 7 game series.

What happens when his body and age finally catch up?

this is what Bron fans don't seem to comprehend. Its not what you do...its how you do it.
LeBron has refused to develop a post up game, improve his footwork & automatic jump shot off the dribble...thus his team takes big men out of the game, Bosh becomes a 3 pt shooter along with everyone else, the team has poor rebounding, Wade is guarding 6'9 PF's.

This a selfish way to play the game because everyone has to change their style of play to fit yours (Bron) & if they can't hit 3's & Bron refuses to make people pay for backing off him or going under screens the team falls apart.

The 90's was weak as hell breh. I could create a separate thread and breakdown this shyt from scratch. That's not to take away from the greatness of the greats like MJ, Hakeem, or Pippen but the league was top heavy and middle and bottom weak in terms of individual talent..

The first half of the 90s would beat the shyt out of today's players.

The 2nd half were just older versions of the 1st half with the addition of Grant Hill and Jason Kidd but I can see them nikkaz beat current teams too.

Pippen was the 5th overall draft pick. How is he not heralded?

I agree about Lebron not being able to win a title without Wade (star/superstar). I agree about that.

As far as the rest, the Bulls had Horace Grant and Dennis Rodman. One is a HOF and the other was a top 5 PF in his time. That's nothing to shame. Let's be real, Wade and Bron are kinda redundant when Wade was in his prime. MJ and Pippen had different skill-sets which benefited both players equally.

My bad, I guess you knew back in 1988 that Pippen was going to be a star. Everyone knew Pippen he was a house hold name back in 1988 a highly touted and heralded prospect from the University of Central Arkansas who rarely got TV time but obviously you were a scout back then and were able to see him play in person.

I'm saying nyggas like you are quick to run into a OVERDONE Bron/MJ thread and be like "SEE I told you he wasn't MJ"
Yet ignore threads giving PROPS to the better team?

Basically people watching to fulfill an agenda or narrative on some WWE shyt, instead of actually enjoying good basketball.
I probably just made 10-15 posts in the game thread the past few hours doing nothing but praising the Spurs

fukk outta here :camby:

He was a highly touted NBA prospect because of his versatility and potential which he achieved and some.

The main reason MJ >>> Lebron.... MJ would of put FIRE in their asses for lackluster performances. He would of AT LEAST made it competitive and got other players INVOLVED with the same intensity that he expects. Lebron isn't that type of player that can WILL his team to victory. Individual stats do not tell the full story. This should of been obvious when the Celtics ousted him in his last year with the Cavs in spite of having an individual triple double. Dude do not have the passion or the heart to get the rest of his team to a level of excellence that even THEY cannot fathom to reach on their own. MJ has. Especially during the 1st three-peat, because outside of PIPPEN, those weren't the BEST squad ever individually.

="#1 pick, pothey are8821156, member: 4']:win: You said it. Pippin was top 3 player. You do realize MJ never won a playoff series without Pippen right. Pippen did the dirty work, MJ got all the shine. What a bytchass nikka.
Lebron never won a ring without Wade. Or Bosh. But now they are the reason he wont win another?

Malc, you need to go back a watch the tapes. The 90's early to late was weak as hell. The mid to late 80's was strong as shyt in general. The level increased from the mid 2000's to now vastly. late 90's to early 2000's was weak as shyt. Clearly you have some great teams like those Lakers but for the most part, most of the league was weak as shyt.

Look at the 98 bulls roster and tell me they're better than the 2014 cheat on paper.

Our best player was 35 years old, yalls is 29 in his FUKKIN PRIME
Our 2nd best player missed damn near half the season, shot what was at the time a career low FG% under 45%, shot under 42% in the playoffs and was getting cortizone shots in his back during the finals.

Dude would've been getting called:flabbynsick:all the time.

It really is an insult for MJ to even be compared to Lebron when he is one loss away from being 2-3 in the finals.

People have always tried to put him in that class before he's earned it.
So it's his fault that he led a 17 win cavaliers team to the finals in 2007 and couldn't win a title with Larry Hughes as his best teammate and that he's the only guy on his team to show up this series?
