Why do we vote the way we vote?
Advertising, organization and exposure and to get those three you need $.
You don't get it.

Its not that we can't have 3rd parties.

Its that when you have first-past-the-post voting, you can't vote proportionally and win that easily.

Money helps candidates get to the top...of their party. But the votes will always settle on a 2 party system, in OUR system.

We don't have a parliament or the "alternative vote" (its an actual system for counting votes) so thats why our leadership looks the way it does.

You can stop sending me articles and videos breh, I'm not going to read/watch them. And if you want to change the fundamentals of the system you either need to be a prominent member of one of the two parties or you know raise a lot of $. I get it quite fine thank you.

There have been many articles throughout this election season about liberal condescension towards the white working-class, and I agree, they shouldn't immediately be written off. I understand why Bernie did well with that group - identity politics took a backseat for a mainly economics-focused campaign. However, we shouldn't ignore that Trump has injected a lot of [white] identity politics into his working-class focused message.

How is this liberal's fault again?
Yea, there's a lot in the piece that makes no sense. How can he pin jobs being lost to right-to-work states on liberals when union busting is largely a republican/conservative thing.

OP is like Nap lite... what percentage of the population even lives in the rust belt? Was Hilary ever going to win those racist cacs? Did Obama win them? The answer is resoundingly no. If Hilary could get Obama level turnout, she could literally win all but the reddest states. That's not even an exaggeration. There isn't some group called "middle america" that gets persuaded to vote Democratic or Republican :dead:

There's not a SINGLE person who voted for Obama that's voting for Trump now :dead: Do you get all of your political analysis from CNN?

Yeah sorry @GinaThatAintNoDamnPuppy! I fukk with you but this is a stupid thread.

Everyone knowledgeable about the electoral politics of this cycle knows Hillary has zero chance of flipping any blue collar white male rust belt workers still planning on voting for Trump.

Their campaign focus is on sparking black, latino, and youth turnout and winning over the last few undecided white suburban mostly college-educated, mostly women voters.

I have never seen a more smug and dismissive group of people than the left wing media these past few months. They managed to out-douche 2000 right wing reporters, and that is quite a feat.

Next time, be more humble and stop getting celebrities to carry your message when the average family could give 3 sh*ts what Hollywood thinks about real issues.

Win or Lose, I hope this inspires better reporting in the future.
