beat chapter one am getting more comfortable with the game play and the new system....and they are getting to point from the jump at least lol ....well try to give it a go tomorrow and see if i can get chapter 2 done

Gotcha games got more voice acting than this,shyt trails into azure had more voice lines lol
Just made it to that part myself before i called it a night. Gonna check more out tomorrow. shyt reminds me of trails of reverie with the timeline aspect and then the virtual space like the reverie corridor.
I wanted more story before being tossed into something like that. I did the first section where you had to handle 3 monsters and there’s more sections to do.
Lots of these games have something like this. In Cold Steel it was the old school house.
nikkas gonna be begging for King Rean and the Chancellor to come back watch.
Rean came back so fast it's almost like he didn't leave.

I think am at the end of chapter 2..some interesting bits in the story but the lack of voice acting makes some sense lack the impact it could have had...
It should pick up like most of these games by the end of chapter into 4 lol..is it me or did they nerf certain things like magic smh..feels like am to depend on s craft for any meaningful damage...and bosses be feeling easier than regular monsters too

Took a break from Daybreak II and started it back up again. It's an ok game but the Trails formula is starting to get stale.
They're too deep into this series to have a game like this. So far this feels like a day in the life of the gang type entry. Maybe it pushes the narrative forward in a meaningful way but into Act 2 I'm not seeing it so far.
By game 12 we should be deep into the meat and potatoes of the entire series if not entering the endgame. Don't get how Kondo didn't get that.
