This is a pic I just took of both of my Switches running SMBD at the same time. They're from one digital purchases and I definitely don't have physical of them as BOTW is the only Switch game that I have a physical copy of and I never bought any Switch games twice on different accounts (or the same for that matter, lol).

I also only have limited knowledge with how emulation works, but I believe this makes sense. Obviously the Steam Deck can run BOTW decently NOW - but it took some time to get there. Like @Volt mentioned, it'll take some time for emulation to catch up. Seeing how fast they've pushed out updates to help get it working is promising though.

Yeah, I've been told that's the better handled emulation version, which makes sense since the hardware is even older. For years tho, I honestly forgotten/didn't know that the game even existed on Wii-U. I had a Wii-U and didn't even think of purchasing the game until a Switch was out.

Exactly, Cemu just had a huge head start on the Switch emulators and wound up being the main BotW emulator because of it.

Yuzu is crashing often for me as well. I'm playing on deck tho, so maybe it's more cuz it's not quite powerful enough? Tho I'm hearing others are having good success on deck. Ionno. I'm fairly new to this shyt, especially on deck and the tell ya, the headaces of it are exactly why I don't get too heavy into it or PC gaming in general.

Word. Yeah, I'm sure it handles better on an actual pc. I don't have any outright PCs tho. Just MacBooks and Chromebooks.

I’ve maintained zero dark 30 on this game, all I know is you can craft that’s it I haven’t seen any gameplay besides the trailer
