i question these stats. lots of stats are skewed to sound sensational. a cold sore like you get randomly in your mouth can be medically defined as a herpes. i have never had sores around my mouth. how many people do you see walking around with sores on their mouths day to day? if the stat is 50% usa and 80% world then we should be seeing this much much more commonly we are talking about a scale of billions of people. with that kind of scale then by sheer numbers we should be seeing it here and there everyday just dealing with people. the herpes sores around the mouth tend to plague tight knight sexual communites where people share all the same sexual partners. i think you see it with lesbians more commonly since thats how they have sex is to spread fluids etc all over their mouth area. herpes is really big in that community. i say that but it would be common in any community where a lot of the same people are all having sex with the same people. so you should see it higher in certain demographics which means the flat out 50% of all people have herpes is actually an impossible stat.

The thing with cold sores is that it could be dormant for years and once they come out it lasts for about 2 weeks
Its not like it perminantly visible
Also a lot of people with it are just carriers and never show signs of havin it

I've never had any symptoms that i know of and have been tested for all kinds of STD's over and over and came back clean. I became paranoid about STD's a few years ago when I got a UTI and thought my girl had given me something. I was ready to strangle her ass until she showed me her test results showing she was clean as can be.Then i got it again a year later and was like WTF???
I spoke to my doctor and he said it wasnt an STD but i still didnt believe him. I went to see another doctor and a eurologist and they all told me it's no STD, just a UTI. A day or 2 before its visible u feel a tingling sensation in the area where it'll come out. Then it slowly grows for a couple of days, then it starts to go away. It feels uncomfortable and dry.

I shared a blunt with a friend and 3 weeks later I had a bump under the skin near my lips. it kinda hurt if I pressed on it. It went away then two weeks later I had a bump in the corner of my mouth that had a head on it like a pimple. I popped it and brown shyt came out.

I don't think they can test for herpes unless you're having an out break.
I made my own sugar wax yesterday and it legit worked. The hard wax was cool too. Did my armpits, hurt like hell but they are smooth. My butt is now smooth but waxing your own ass is probably something you shouldn't do. Just take my word for it.

I believe the stat is that many have been "exposed" to the virus, also. Type 1 or 2.
