I feel that the growth in roster plus the loss of Rampage is the reason for that. Not to mention people coming back from injuries like Omega, and MJF and Cole who also missed some time. And there's still guys that are out like Kingston who you mentioned, or guys not being used.

They only got 4 hours of time available a week and a decently built roster so they gotta focus on their stars and have no time for much outsiders. Might be rare exceptions like Gabe Kidd appearance.

Of course we might see some come in during Forbidden Door season to help build up that event. Most likely people that fans are familiar with like the usual njpw guys or cmll. Of course with it being in London this year, who knows if any RevPro or whatever the big promotions out there talent will show up. Hopefully momentum keeps going until that time where it'll be exciting to watch those unknowns.
It also feels like TK is much more focused on a smaller portion of the roster and much less likely to want to spread the wealth of TV time to try to keep everyone happy, which just makes more people unhappy than happy.

Wouldn't be surprised if some more roster cuts pop up over next few months as well, especially the unused talent and some from your list.

Are we entertaining the idea that Styles is leaving WWE? Didn't he just re-sign last year or so? I figure he's a WWE lifer at this point.

Good Brothers :hhh: Stay away, and keep the Bucks with you. Go stink up NJPW or TNA

He signed a contract extension a couple years ago that’s about to be up. I can imagine he feels a way not being in the elimination chamber and won’t be on mania unless he’s in some IC title 6 way so it’s a reasonable discussion

not sure how things would work out if AJ Styles were to go over to AEW. I think he would still garner as much respect as possible even as a vet. they got guys like Lashley and Benjamin who are vets who just won the tag team titles who are over with the fans, compared to guys like Jericho and to some extent Copeland who are also older but get more criticism from fans. but I think AJ would be accepted. of course there are always those fans mad at anyone who transfers over in that direction.

far as WWE goes, I don't see much on the horizon for AJ. not that he can't be used, but as far as universal or heavyweight titles, too many people in line already for those with more potential. even the midcard titles are filled up with plenty of potential talent. dont see him having a major role unless its a random feud or a rumble appearance or random multi man at mania if they try to load up the card. there are prolly at least 15 maybe even 20 guys that i feel the company would prioritize or has potential other than AJ. not saying AEW doesn't have a lot of talent either, but guess it depends on if WWE is able to build any new feuds or do anything of significance with him to make it seem worth it.

You nikkas live in fairy world :dead:

Brother, when you're 47 years old, go try to get as big AJ is, and tell me what happens :pachaha:

He's on TRT and HGH, legal and straight from his doctor, just like every other unusually glossy, red skinned, middle aged man in todays world.

He's never had a big layoff in his entire career. He has his first in his 40s and comes back double the size? Do the math on that one.
Thats not steroids…

I think it’s going to more likely be just contracts expiring. As far as I’m aware, Fenix the only other person I know of that asked to be released. Other than some COVID casualties, William Regal and Kylie Rae the only ones I can think of that got released for reasons other than being fired with cause or being a malcontent.

Just checked Max and they have added some more ppv events for the month. Looks like they have Revolution ppv for each year, up to 2024. With 2024 having 2 more ppv's added as well.

Can now see Swerve's title victory and Danielson vs Ospreay from last year for instance.

Did anyone else get the email that CNN and B/R are being moved to the premium tier for Max? Does that mean AEW will no longer be shown if you have the ads subscription?

I get the ad version of Max for free and don't have the option to upgrade unless I set up an entirely new account, which I'm not going to do.
