:ohhh:

I remember when the narrative was "He needs to have a booking committee because they don't tell stories!" and it turns out the booking committee was fukking up everything until he got the book back :russ:

Cliffs? I don't know if I can listen to Tony for 38 minutes lol.... he be all over the place on those press conferences with the long ass tangents

It's probably his best interview because the interviewer is actually a fan and Tony was being open without going on ADHD tangents

Listening to that TK interview now. He's been taking some cues from Big Boom AJ. CONSTANTLY tossing in the name of the shows and when and where they air. Gets kind of annoying but a promoter's got to promote.

Basically the booking thing summarized - said there were too many cooks in the kitchen, wasn't always his plan to have it happen, it was too many ideas and and not organized well, wanted to get back to the way it was during the Daily's Place era, started putting into motion the plans at the end of 2024 to take back over the book.

Should have dropped names on who made the decisions on some of the shyttiest stuff.

"That Danielson title defense against Jungle Boy? Yeah that was QT. Now you see why he doesn't have creative input anymore :sas1:"
Bruh check the timeline - QT came back last spring :hubie: He wasn't involved in the early year stories to build to Revolution that was the show of the year.

Any other wrestling promoter when they're revealing how they took control of their brand and made it successful again would be comparing themselves Caesar or Washington, maybe Steve Jobs or even a Belichick... Tony Khan says he was inspired by George Costanza and the "jerk store" insult.

I fukking love this guy :lolbron::manny:
